Addictological Clinic – a new service for university students and employees
08.04.2008 |The Addictological Clinic is a clinical department of the Centre for Addictology. It primarily serves university students and employees whose health and social situation is currently or developmentally endangered by drug use issues and non-substance addictions. The outpatient addictological clinic is on the premises of the Centre for Addictology at the Psychiatric Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague.

International Society of Addiction Journal Editors (ISAJE) and World Health Organisation (WHO) - ISAJE/WHO YOUNG SCHOLARS AWARD 2008
18.02.2008 |The award scheme aims to provide recognition for the contributions to addiction science of young scholars from developing countries and to promote their involvement in the field. The award is for the best published paper on any topic related to addiction written by a young scholar from a low- or middle-income country. The successful applicant will receive a certificate and financial support to attend an international scientific or clinical meeting, to be chosen by the winner in consultation with ISAJE.
