Outpatient Treatment

Medically assisted detox allows patients to get rid of addictive substances in a safe environment. This is beneficial because sometimes substance withdrawal can cause unpleasant or even life-threatening physical symptoms. Because of the fact that detox does not treat the underlying behavioral causes of the addiction, it is used in combination with other form of therapies.

Outpatient treatment is a form of substance abuse treatment that doesn’t require overnight stays at a hospital or residential facility. Although they’re less intensive than inpatient or residential rehabilitation, outpatient rehab programs entail a wide variety of therapeutic interventions and services, and can take place in many different settings.

Outpatient Treatment for Children and Adolescents

Medically assisted detox allows patients to control withdrawal symptoms and other potential somatic and psychiatric comorbidities. Motivational and training components, psychotherapy, psychosocial support and assistance in dealing with adverse social situations with preparation of patients for further treatment and therapeutic programmes are an essential part of the treatment. The goal of the program is to provide patients with insight into substance use and its impact, prepare them for entry into structured programs, and promote their motivation and readiness to enter follow-up treatment.

Adolescent drug abuse treatment is most commonly offered in outpatient settings. When delivered by well-trained clinicians, this can be highly effective. Outpatient treatment is recommended for adolescents with less severe addictions, few additional mental health problems, and a supportive living environment, although evidence suggests that more severe cases can be treated in outpatient settings as well.

Psychotherapy and Family Therapy

Inpatient recovery programs, also known as residential treatment, require patients to check themselves into a controlled environment to overcome their addictions. Patients stay at a hospital with 24-hour medical and emotional support.

The centre provides professional psychotherapeutic outpatient care to patients, their partners, family members and entire families threatened by the addiction of one of their members. It is a specialized facility for family therapy for addictions and codependent or dependent family systems. It is based on the theoretical and clinical concept of addiction as a disease of the whole family. The team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, addictologists and specialized social workers.
