About the Symposium
The 1st European Kratom Symposium is a scientific meeting dedicated to advancing research, clinical practice, public health and policy related to kratom in Europe.
Building on the tradition of scientific kratom symposia established in the United States, this inaugural European event aims to provide a platform for scientific exchange and international collaboration. It brings together researchers, clinicians, public health experts and policymakers from Europe, Southeast Asia and North America to discuss emerging evidence, current challenges and future directions in kratom research.
The symposium aims to strengthen scientific collaboration, encourage evidence-informed discussions and contribute to shaping future research priorities in Europe.
Scientific Independence
The symposium is an independent scientific and professional event, with its organisation and programme developed without commercial involvement. It provides a platform for evidence-based discussions on kratom, encompassing scientific, clinical, public health and regulatory perspectives.
The opening session is planned to bring together representatives from the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) and the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, highlighting the importance of dialogue between research, public health and policymaking.
