Anotace
The project aims to improve the quality of addictions care in Europe by supporting a skilled, resilient and sustainable addictions workforce. The project will take a workforce development approach which goes beyond considering only education, training and accreditation but encompasses individual, organisational, structural and systemic factors such as workforce planning, recruitment and retention, professional development and worker wellbeing.
The multidisciplinary nature of the addictions workforce and the dynamic, changing context of the addictions field make it essential to focus on both the capacity of the workforce to respond to current and emerging issues and on strengthening collaboration and communication between all stakeholders, within countries and internationally.
